Once the assessment / tax notices are sent out, the assessment roll is open to be viewed by ratepayers at the County Office.
Farm Parcels with Residences
Anywhere there is a residence with three acres, an assessment is applied at market land values and the balance of the land is assessed at farmland rates.
Rural Assessment Policy is if you have sufficient land assessment you can receive exemption off on your first residence up to $61,540 assessment dollars and second residence $30,770 assessment dollars.
Market Land / Commercial Land
If the parcel of land is less than one acre, then all the land is assessed at market land values that are established by the sales that have transpired in that area for the year.
