Planning and Development Services

Our service is based on three core values:
If you are subdividing land, putting up a building or changing the use of your property we are ready to advise you on the provincial and municipal regulations that apply, and help you through the process of obtaining the approvals that you require. While helping you we also take seriously our responsibility to other ratepayers in the County who may be impacted by your planned actions, and we will endeavour to remain objective in our recommendations to County Council, the Subdivision Authority, the Development Authority and the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board. Please call us when you are planning your subdivision or development projects, or when you have enquiries about subdivision and development projects planned or occurring in your local area.
