Please be advised, due to an appeal of the Development Permit for Bar W Resort, the Land and Property Rights Tribunal (LPRT) has directed Bay View Street be gated to ‘through traffic’ between May long weekend (May 17) and September long weekend (Sept. 2).
This road will continue provide Emergency Access and Egress from May long weekend through September long weekend.

Signage will be installed today to inform travelers of this gate closure, which is scheduled to occur by Friday, May 17, 2024.
